Diet Jowar Bhel-Mix

  Ingredients :-

2 tbsp Cold-pressed oil, ¼ tsp turmeric / haldi, ¼ cup peanut/groundnut

2 tbsp roasted split gram dal / putani / daria / roasted chana dal

1 tsp mustard Seeds/rai 1 dried red chili (broken)

pinch of hing / asafoetida few curry leaves

½ tsp kashmiri red chili powder / lal mirch powder

3  cup Jowar Kurmura / puffed Sorghum

¼ tsp Himalayan Rock salt Powder

¾ cup sev (optional)

 

firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp Cold Pressed oil and add ¼ cup broken peanut.

saute on medium flame till the peanuts turn golden and crunchy.

now add 2 tbsp split gram dal and roast on low flame. set aside.

further add 1 tsp mustard Seeds, 1 dried red chili, a pinch of hing, and a few curry leaves.

saute and splutter well. additionally, add ¼ tsp turmeric and ½ tsp chili powder. saute on low flame.

now add 3 cups Green Habit Jowar Kurmura and mix gently coating spices well.

turn off the flame and add, ¼ tsp Pink Rock salt Powder and ¾ cup hot sev. mix well.

finally, cool the spicy murmura completely and store it in an airtight container. the same recipe can be used for Ragi, Multi-grain, Corn, Bajra Kurmura/Murmura.
